Easter Service

Our Easter Sunday Service is April 5 at 9:30 am. It includes Communion, choir, a Children’s procession, Children’s Sunday School, coffee hour and an Easter Egg Hunt with a special appearance of the Easter Bunny.

Good Friday Ecumenical Service

Trinity Episcopal Church, downtown Niles, invites you to join us as we host this year's Ecumenical Good Friday worship service at 7 pm, Friday, April 3. The Rev. Pamela V. Sten, priest at Trinity, will lead the Good Friday Liturgy, with several area pastors and laypeople assisting. Worship will include special prayers and devotions; a participatory reading of the St. John Passion narrated by Dee Beaumont, a combined choir, and Rev. David Lawrence preaching. Our worship will conclude with communion that was blessed on Holy Thursday for those wishing to partake. The Episcopal Church welcomes all at the altar for communion or a blessing. English Advent Lessons and Carols

As part of our 180th anniversary, Trinity Church will present a traditional
English Advent Lessons and Carols Service on Sunday, December 7th at 4pm. 
The Diocese of Western Michigan’s new Bishop, Whayne Hougland will preach at the service.
Dr. Kenneth Logan, Organist-Choir Director has composed a choral anthem for this special occasion. A formal reception for the  public will follow.
Please join us for a time of spiritual reflection to help prepare for the birth of the Christ child.

Beyond Imagining: A Harp & Organ Celebration

Join us for Beyond Imagining: A Harp & Organ Celebration on Sunday, May 18th at 4:00pm at Trinity Episcopal Church.  The recital will feature harpist, Rachel Miller and organist, Kenneth Logan.

Rachel Miller is currently Principal Harpist of the Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra. She frequently serves as substitute and 2nd harp for Jackson Symphony Orchestra, Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, South Bend Symphony Orchestra and Charlotte Symphony Orchestra.

Kenneth Logan teaches topics in organ studies and in music technology at Andrews University.  He also serves as Minister of Music and Organist of Pioneer Memorial Church.  Prior to coming to Andrews University, he held teaching positions at Highland View Academy, Walla Walla College and Canadian University College.

Good Friday Liturgy, April 18, 7 pm


We invite you to spend an hour at the “foot of the cross” tonight: contemplating Jesus’ death, praying together, listening to the St. John Passion Gospel, and receiving communion from the reserved sacrament.

Easter Service

He is Risen!! Trinity Episcopal Church invites you to join us for our Festive Easter Communion service Sunday, April 20 at 9:30 am. An Easter social time follows the service in our parish hall.

Lent 2014 at Trinity Episcopal Church

Lent is a valuable time to begin/renew a discipline of worship and prayer.

Lent begins this year on Ash Wednesday, March 5 with imposition of ashes and communion at 7:00 pm.

Episcopal Relief and Development Lenten Meditation booklets are available at the usher’s table.

Stations of the Cross are prayed each Wednesday at 5pm beginning March 12, followed by our usual Healing Evening Prayer service at 5:30 pm.

The Ecumenical Community Lenten Supper and Worship Services starts with supper at 6pm and the service follows at 7pm.

Holy Week begins on April 13 with the Palm Sunday Liturgy with Procession of Palms outdoors, weather permitting. Begins at 9:30 am in the Parish Hall. The Passion Story will be read and communion will be served.

Maundy Thursday (April 17) worship begins at 7 pm, and includes foot washing and communion.  

Good Friday (April 18) Liturgy begins at 7 pm, and includes communion from the reserved sacrament.

Festive Choral Easter Day worship is on April 20. Worship begins at 9:30 am.

Mark your calendars early, so that your family can participate fully in the Season of Lent in order to live into the Joy of Resurrection.

Think now of friends, co-workers, family, and neighbors who don’t have a Church home who might enjoy the very meaningful liturgies that the Episcopal Church offers.

Invite them to Trinity; offer to pick them up, or meet them at the door.
